When you are ready to record your first presentation, you will need to make sure that you're in the "Create New Recording" tab. After the instructor has loggd into Panopto, you will need to tell Panopto which folder it can record presentations to. First, press the down-facing arrow to the right of this screen. Then:
- Check off 'Webcast and Record'
- Find the desired folder and click 'Add New Session'
- Give the session a name (generally the presenter's first and last names)
After the above steps have been completed, press the red 'Record' button. Operate the camera with the virtual joystick. Press the stop button when the presentation has completed.
Note: Panopto requires 5 seconds to warm up after you press the record button.
